On September 8th, 2015 the renowned German “Pharma Trend Image and Innovation Awards” have been consigned to selected pharma companies and some of their most innovative medicines. The winners have been rated by more than 900 physicians via a representative survey. Markus Renner, Co-Owner of Branding-Institute and Visiting Professor Marketing & Reputation at Henley Business School (UK), had the honour to hold the keynote speech on “The Influence of Trust & Corporate Reputation on the Business Success”.
In his speech Markus analysed the coherence of corporate reputation and business success and how to measure the reputation of companies. He finally elaborated on the influence of rankings and awards on the reputation of corporations, as more than 500 brand and reputation rankings and even more than 5,000 awards are regularly published worldwide.

The awards ceremony took place in a particularly solemn and venerable atmosphere as it was held in the ceremonial hall of the famous “Deutsches Museum” in Munich. More than 120 senior representatives of the pharmaceutical industry attended the event. The “Goldene Tablette” (golden pill) awards for the most innovative pharma companies were given among others to Bayer and Roche. Medicines of Novartis, Astellas and seven other drugmakers were awarded with the “Most Innovative Product” awards.
